St. Mark’s is characterized by friendship, hospitality, inclusiveness, a hunger for learning, and service to others.
A welcoming time of fellowship follows each Sunday service. All are invited and welcomed in the downstairs hall for conversation, coffee, tea, and other goodies. On the third Sunday of each month the “coffee hour” expands and becomes a pot-luck luncheon with plenty of food for all who come — with or without a dish to share.
St. Mark’s community is marked by a commitment to social justice and lives out its mission to the world in many ways. Not only do we try to reach out spiritually, we also commit money, food and time–some of our greatest and best resources. We study to become advocates for those who have no voice.
